The gate keeper receives the information about the train arrival from a near station. In general, level crossing gates are operated manually by a gate keeper. Abstract: The present work attempts to automate the opening and closing of gates at a railway level crossing. In railway stations platforms, climbing up the overhead steps for the physically challenged people is very difficult. When the sensor sends signals gate is closed automatically, at that time if any vehicle stops in between the gates, it's also more dangerous. He has to stay up to date with the railway crossing signals.
Problem Statement: Railway level crossing gates are operated manually by a gate keeper.
